Eddie and Frank Thomas

Eddie and Frank Thomas join us to share stories and songs from the American South. This
journey filters through the hearts, minds and eyes of two ageless baby boomers from
Mississippi, with music that “has the feel of a scrapbook stored in the attic” and lyrics having “a
timeless ability to melt a romantic’s heart.” Amazing, how you never open another’s scrapbook
that you don’t discover something new about yourself.

During their thirty-year, award-winning career as Thomasfilms, Inc., the Thomas brother’s
always personalized their film and video productions by including original music. With Angels
on the Backroads, a 4CD tribute to blues and jazz, they moved their music to the forefront, and
after National Public Radio’s Weekend Edition Sunday featured Angels on the Backroads, it
became a multimedia stage show, touring in both the USA and UK.

Armed only with guitar, bass and Southern accent, Eddie and Frank use their visit to Grateful
Fred’s to take us on an American journey in story and song.
